The airline of the Cherifian Kingdom, Royal Air Maroc (RAM), continues its merry way in the African sky of which it has become almost an essential actress. Alongside other international companies, RAM, as we like to call it affectionately, makes it a point of honor to take up the challenge of quality. For the good of its customers and for the influence of Africa.

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is the first company on the African continent to obtain the Cargo iQ certification label last May. And this certification that puts it up to the Cargo iQ quality management standards of the air cargo transport industry is not nothing on an international scale. It allows it to be in tune with many other companies outside the continent that have this same and prestigious certification.

RAM joins the world's major air carriers, major players in the supply chain (including freight forwarders) and preeminent IT solution providers worldwide, the company said in a press release on the occasion of this certification.

Aimed at implementing quality standards for the freight and supply chain industry on a global scale, the Cargo iQ interest group dates back to 1997. And it was created by major airlines and freight forwarders within of IATA (International Air Transport Association). In addition to the Cargo iQ certification, RAM also obtained in the same period and with this in mind two more stars in the categories “Corporate Social Responsibility” and “Spirit of Innovation”. The certification in question is the result of RAM joining the Cargo iQ community in 2019. It is valid for three years.

It should be emphasized that the headquarters of Royal Air Maroc is based in Casablanca. The company of the Cherifian Kingdom complies with the norms of international air transport standards in terms of safety and security, and has high-level certifications of its trades. It is thus one of the most reliable companies in its field of activity. The airline is also quick to remind you that it serves as a link between the African continent and many of the main world and regional cities via its hub in Casablanca. Which is, in fact, one of the first African transit airports and the company is actively working for the influence of Africa. As can be read in its announcements: “During its 60 years of existence, the company has always invested in the renewal and modernization of its fleet and has recorded significant increases in terms of traffic and turnover. It has regularly extended its network by opening new lines on five continents, and by multiplying frequencies, to best meet the needs of its customers. Royal Air Maroc continually pursues a policy based on excellence and cutting-edge technology. Quality of service is a key issue for the competitiveness of Royal Air Maroc and a strategic orientation of the group's policy. Therefore, the company is constantly deploying plans to improve the quality of service and raise it to the highest international standards for customer satisfaction”.
